Peek A Blue
We have a very healthy baby from head to toe.
Including all HIS parts in between!
I must be quite honest and admit that I was a little shocked at the revelation. Not sure whether it is the fact that God must have found it humorous to answer my prayer for patience and wisdom this way or that I will never another cute little girl to dress again!
It will take me a few days to mourn the last part. Likely it is just a hormone-overload thing. Probably sounds silly to some of you!
A friend let me know that if I had a calm boy the first time, then I would probably get the wild and crazy version this time around. Again, a God-humor thing! I can assure you that we have the wild and crazy version well taken care of so I must be due the other!
I was really glad to have my daughter there with me. She was so excited and so cute standing there beside me. As we started looking at the live picture, she stood there with double-crossed fingers waiting for the verdict. I saw it before she heard it, and I watched her head drop into her hands when we announced the verdict! She was a trooper though and rallied. She helped take some sonogram pics to take to school and reintroduced herself to the doctor that delivered her 7 years ago tomorrow. She had clothes on this time!!
It was a good way to end our very fun-packed weekend!

Congrats!!! I understand the wanting a girl thing:) (but still love, love, loving the boy!) So glad that everything is going well with your pregnancy. How fun and exciting!! How did L. take the boy news?
Congratulations! Boys are still lots of fun and a whole lot cheaper to dress. And you don't have to pay for a wedding!
I understand your feelings completely! Congratulations- God gave you exactly what your family needs. :)
Congratulations!!! I'm thrilled HE is perfectly healthy and thriving!
This post made me "smile out loud"! I don't think your feelings are silly...I understand. After all, little girls ARE more fun to dress! But as someone else said, boys are cheaper! I pray your son is calm and easy going! Mine was - it's the girl who's wild and crazy here!
So glad your daughter got to experience this with you.
Blessings!
One big girl and two baby boys. God's blessings abound!!
Congratulations!!
so excited for you!!
Oh, that's so exciting!! You know, I love, love, love my little boy. He's much more affectionate than my daughter is. If I could either a boy or a girl next, I would choose a boy. Much less emotional and dramatic. Trust me - as they get into the teen years, it's a huge difference!
How cool for your daughter to get to take a pic with the doctor who delivered her. I'm sure she was very happy to be non-naked this time around!
Congratulations . . . what was your husband's reaction? I'm so happy for you. Your baby looks so adorable already!
Congrats! How exciting!! I'm so glad he's healthy!
I do understand that feeling... when we saw Jack's "parts" we were both happy to have a healthy baby, but a little quiet... WHAT to do with a BOY? It didn't take long, we just needed to readjust our thinking and get used to the idea.
What a blessing boys are, though, right? Even the "active" ones. :)
Congratulations.
I understand completely. But let me say, I LOVE raising boys. It's absolutely wonderful, and I know it will be for you too. CONGRATULATIONS! Now, have fun picking a name! :O)
