Thoughts and Prayers

I wanted to take a few minutes to share some needs with you.

I know each of these gals and families would feel blessed to hear from you and to know you had lifted them up in prayer.

Angie and her family have been traveling a tough road these past few months. Their current situation is one none of us would ever wish to experience. I read all her blog entries the other night and found myself feeling comforted and blessed. I dare say, once you read their story and her words, you will too. Today, they could really use you praying for them.

Tyra is someone I found a few months ago and was intrigued by one of her posts. After that, I just kept checking in every once and awhile. Then she got real. Really real! She is sharing the raw reality of her life right now and it should remind us all that some days the face of our blogs, and those we read, can be as fake as the masks we sometimes wear in public! We just don't always know what people are really going through. Talking to myself, but I know you know what I mean! I know she would be so encouraged to have you visit and say hi. I know it would mean so much to her to know you are praying for her as well.

Martie has shared a heart-wrenching story about her daughter Demi. Please go and read it. She is asking that we leave a comment of encouragement for her daughter and that we pray for Demi and the family. This is such a neat family and I know they will feel so blessed by your efforts.

My sweet friend Jennifer and her sweet mom Cyndy (and their families) lost their grandmother and mother last month. Jenn wrote such a wonderful eulogy and the pictures of her at both sites are so beautiful. I would love if you could take a few minutes to stop in and let them know you are thinking about them.

These last two don't have links.

My neighbor has 3 daughters. Two of the 3 have multiple medical problems which I won't share here. The saddest part is they just can't predict at this point their life expectancy, but it does not sound long in terms of years. Both girls are now being kept at home to decrease their chances of acquiring typical illnesses from their classmates. The mom has a lot on her plate and I know she would appreciate your prayers.

A friend's neighbor and friend has recently experienced a life changing tragedy. She and her husband were remodeling in their home when a mirror broke and a piece landed on her 38 year old husband's arm. It was so terribly bad that he lost too much blood before they could get him to the hospital. I don't know her, but I think of her frequently these past few weeks. I don't know if she is a Christian or has a church family, so I was hoping you could be that for her and lift them up in prayer.

Also, if you are that kind of person that is good about writing encouraging notes and feel like you want to, I would be happy to pass along any to these last two. Email me and I will give you my address.

To end, I have updated my prayer list on my sidebar in case you want to check it out.
