Jillian made me do it

At this very moment, I am sitting here eating a concoction.

There is really nothing else to call it.

Natural yogurt, blueberries, cinnamon, flax seed, and wheat germ.

OK, OK!

I might have swirled a bit of chocolate syrup on top just for fun!

And while it is also true that I really shouldn't be eating anything this late at night, I am hoping to score points for its "healthy" factor!

It's doing its job-providing me a yummy treat with sweetness, fruitiness, and texture.

With my mornings a bit quieter around here, I have vowed to start exercising on the days I am home. And I have stayed true to that vow.

I am only 2 days in, but I am thinking positive!

On Monday, after taking the kids to school, we came home and I entertained my baby by flailing my arms and legs to the 30-Day Shred. I was sore on Tuesday, but not horrible. I probably didn't push myself as hard as I could have, but I was trying to be sensible with my post-pregnancy body.

Today, I had to take B to the doctor after dropping the big kids at school, so I didn't get my workout started until after picking up L from school. He thought he was going to do it with me, but then decided he would rather watch for entertainment. I am sure you can just hear the conversation I had with my 5-year old while attempting to get through the workout!!

I had to pause my body a few times today and miss a few reps with one or two of the exercises, but overall I kept up ok.

My goal is to exercise 4 times a week. I am not unrealistic about what might or might not happen to my body anytime soon, but I figured eating better and making any attempt to exercise moderately couldn't hurt!

I probably won't have my superstah body by January, but I am hoping to have something to show for my efforts as I cross the threshold into my new decade! ;)

So, I found the "30 Day Shred" videos on my "On Demand" channel. I tried day 1 Sunday with 5 pound weights! I could barely move the next day!! She is serious!!!! But, I have been really trying to work on my triceps and she definitely hit those!

I think everyone on the net but me is doing 30 day shred :) Coconut milk or oil added to your smoothie (start small!) boosts your metabolism really well :)
