Come on down!
Bee!
You are the next winner on The Truest Thing!
I will pop this in the mail to you next week!

Jen gave me a great idea when she commented, wondering how fun it would be to see where all this book could go!
So, I thought I would make a request.
What if each person that receives this book, signs it AND then passes it along to the next person with the same request? Each person can choose how they want to give it away.
I think it would be super fun if we kept it in the blog family and then track it!
Stacey
p.s. I will put your name in there Jen!

In the spirit
In the last 2 weeks, I won this

and of course, THIS

The book was a perfect read for me! It was good and easy-nothing too deep, but with great detail that made envisioning the story fun. It was my rainy day book last week and I finished it in one day! Thanks Jen!
The printer, well, what can I say. It was so neat to win that! I am bummed that we had just bought a new printer several months ago. But this new one is even nicer and I can't wait to print pictures from it! Thanks 5M4M!
What I neglected to mention was another little treat I won a few days after the printer! Look what I received from Melissa just today!

I received a beautiful scripture bracelet, a Starbucks GC, and a cute bookmark!

I stuck my bracelet on immediately and wore it the rest of the day! "I can do everything through Him that gives me strength." Philippians 4:13. My son saw it on me today and was asking all kinds of questions about it. He thought it was nice that "Melwissa" sent it to me. When I told him what it said, he was all "Hey, we learned that at church!".
Thank you Melissa! I love all of it and the bracelet is a true treasure!
Sooooooo, I was thinking!
Why be greedy?
In the spirit of giving, I am going to pass on a few of my treats to one of you!
(Keep your hands off my printer people! And YES, we actually have a Starbucks here! Well, at least for now since it is on the closure list-boo hoo!)
I thought I would pair up the book with my new bookmark! See me sharing the "love"!

(Yes, I know! What you really want is my son's Superman placemat in the background!)
Nothing complicated. Just leave a comment here at this post. Book recommendations might be nice, but not mandatory! I will stop counting comments on Thursday, August 28th at 10 pm CST and randomly draw a winner. I will announce Friday morning!
Anybody giving away a trip to Hawaii anytime soon?!!

Covered up with cute!
Y'all have to head over to Confessions of An Apron Queen! She is giving away a super cute one this week! I am not really an apron-wearer, but this one would be so worth giving it a shot! It is mommy-functional!
And did I mention cute already!
She gives one away each week, so head over frequently!
Lots of other little tidbits swirling around in my head, so I will be back later!

A Win-Win Solution!

In order to keep ticking off my Life Goals 2008, I went in search of an easy way to enter online sweepstakes this morning.
I am always reading about people that win so much stuff all the time. I wanted in on the action! What a great way to enjoy things for my family, as well as win things that I can donate, giveaway as prizes, or share with my extended family or friends!
So, what works for me at this point is.....
Roboform
It has several tools you can use, but since I am new to it, I am only using the form-filler option right now. As I learn more, I will share!
If you currently use this system, I would love to hear from you. Good and bad!
That is what works for me! Head over here for more great ideas!
Happy Sweeping!

Winning is everything!
Oh not really! It was just fun to say!
I found out last week that I actually did win one of the prizes being given away at 5M4M during their Christmas Giveaway. I thought I hadn't cuz I didn't see my name in blue and pouted for a minute, then went about my business with not another thought about it.
Then I get an email, and shonuff, I won something. I get a $50 gift certificate to spend online at Hanes. Cool! Turns out I must have messed up when logging on with my blog site, but they had my email. Thank goodness!
Last Thursday evening, I supported my kids' little school at their dinner and auction fundraiser. The dinner was $10 and included a yummy Italian feast. I was conservative, but competitive, during the auction. I missed out on the least expensive golf package (a potential gift for my fil) and the cut.est little brown and pink (lead-free!) lunch box with a pink "A" already embroidered on it! I just could not make myself pay over $32 for it!
Look at what I did get-

* 3 Free Large Make-n-Take Pizzas and a 2 liter of Diet Coke (yuck!) $23
(I am all about easy prep meals! I think I got a good deal!)
* 4 Tickets and Parking Passes to Lone Star Park (horse racing) $21-ish
(I thought it would be a fun and cheap family activity! Again, another good deal!)
* A wonderful basket filled with great goodies $38
(A GREAT deal!)

It is filled with a gorgeous pillow, a yummy candle, a perfect coffee cup, Starbucks coffee, a lovely cross hanging, and a $10 GC from Half-Price Books (love that place!). Oh, and of course, the best basket ever! You would have been so much more impressed had I actually thought to take off the cellophane before taking the picture!!
And while I did not actually "win" those items, my kids' small school won by raising over $6300 dollars!

And the Canadians have taken the lead!
Oh hush!
I know I said I would not be back until Thursday, but technically, it is still Monday.
You know.
Today, the day I wrote my first post this morning.
Where I said I would not be posting again until Thursday.
I just had to come back for a quick second to tell you what my secret potential prize announcement was.
On Friday, I thought in my head, "what the heck! give away two prize sets!".
So, I did!
Only I just today heard back from my second winner....
Jeanette!
She is not a blogger but I bet just as sweet ;) And thank goodness she checks her junk mail! (Can I not be "junk" anymore Jeanette?!)
And I just think it is a hoot that she lives in Canada where my other new buddies live! In fact, Julie-Anne was my very first blog prize winner and Kimmy won from me also!
Ok, so really, I have given away more stuff to the USA gals, but who's counting anyway!
Congratulations Jeanette!
And now back to my hibernation!!

And the pampering goes to.....
Betsy!
I am so excited for her!
And although I do not know her very well yet, my guess is she needs some pampering since she homeschools AND is helping her husband with a new church. You can find her talking about that over at In The Beginning.
She is going to get a mini Ginger Citrus Set (sugar scrub, body wash, & body butter) and the Skin Conditioning Oil from Arbonne.
I actually have another special announcement regarding this prize, but I will have to wait until confirmation to share it with you!!
THANK YOU everyone who entered for my Fall Y'all prize giveaway! There were so many that said how much they needed this, so I hated having to choose. Actually "Random Generator" chose, so you could blame him!
It was fun (although I have not won anything at this point-boo hoo!) and I have so many new people to get to know better! I know that alone will be a huge blessing!
For all those that did not win and would be interested in learning more about Arbonne's incredible products, feel free to email me for information about the products and my specials. Sorry for the hassle, but I have decided to take my Arbonne website address off of my blog for security purposes; I can share that site with anyone that personally emails me!
Don't miss out....everything is HALF-OFF in November!!

Tackled Pink!
I am getting comfy and tackling for fun this week! With the Fall Y'all Bloggy Giveaway going on all week, I have my hands full!

As of Monday night, I had this many visitors who I am eager to go see!

And I had this many emails in my box to work through. I LOVE subscribing to my blog comments. It has made life so much easier!

I had this many emails in just 4 hours!
Knowing (hoping!) this might happen, I worked through the house at warp speed today while the kids were at school. It always amazes me what I can accomplish in a few hours that would take me ALL DAY with them here. And still not be done! I love and adore my kids, but TODAY, I needed them to go to school! They were fighting after being up for only 5 minutes this morning!
So, for the other big kid that lives here, just know that yesterday I:
Cleaned the bedrooms
Cleaned the bathrooms
Cleaned the kitchen
Cooked dinner
Vacuumed house
Put things away
Finished laundry
Folded almost all the laundry
Taxied kids to dance and library
Got some groceries (with your wired son in tow!)
Fed, bathed, entertained, and put kids to bed
Prepared backpacks, lunches, and costumes/books for school Tuesday
Did some work
Prepared hand-out treats for Wednesday night
Just for the record, I am feeling no guilt! :)
Happy Tackling!

Count the ways in 31 days!
There are so many ways to help those dealing with breast cancer. I am only mentioning a few today to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Feel free to make other suggestions for me to use in post updates throughout the month!
I love this one where you simply click everyday and help women receive free mammograms!
Several at work will be participating in the Race for the Cure. I had done it several times about 6 years ago with my friend Judy! I will miss again this year, but am registering for the event anyway. Apparently, I am what they call a "sleep walker"! Cute, huh!
And of course, I am participating in the Virtual Walk for the Gal To Gal Foundation which supports those diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer. It is so neat because you can type in someone's first name, last initial, and their city/state and voila', you can find your friends that are walking too!!
Now best of all!
I recently discovered that I have 2 pink bar boards with pink-handled paring knives that I ordered from Pampered Chef several years ago. That is what happens when you clean and purge!! I think I had purchased 5 at the time to use as gifts because I knew some of the proceeds were donated.
Want to win one? :)
Here is what you need to do:
1. Go register and design "you" at www.galtogalwalk.org. The cost is $3.
2. Either post about it and link others there as well OR email 3 other people about it with the link if you don't have a blog.
3. Come back to this post and leave me a comment. Either link me to your post about signing up OR tell me the first names of the 3 people you emailed.
(Ya'll, I would so love to do a Mr. Linky here, but seriously, does it have to be that complicated! My eyes were glazed over while reading the first sentence of instructions!)
On October 31st, I will randomly draw 2 winners for these cute pink sets!! Who knows, I may also throw in some Luxurious Holiday yummies just cuz ya'll are so generous!
And just for fun, I am going to wear a cute pink bracelet everyday in October! I may have to raid Anysa's jewelry until I can make it to the store!!
