It's A Snap!

My daughter has 20 trillion hair bands.

I had them divided and organized in a drawer, but as you can imagine, they always managed to get mixed up.

As I was giving all the stuff from her room a new home, I came across the dreaded hair bands. Ugh, I needed a better plan. I have all her hair bows clipped to a string that hangs in her closet. I needed another brilliant idea like that! ;)

Later that day, I came across an extra set of plastic shower curtain rings.

Here is where keeping "junk" just in case comes in handy!

What looks like a pile of hair bands...

is really a neatly contained array of beauty accessories!

Even my daughter can manage the snap/unsnap by herself!

And that works for me too!

Next thing you know, I will be reading palms!

Several months ago, I got fed up with all the A&D's I had tried! I had even tried some natural ones. Nothing was working. I was either sporting wet spots almost as soon as walking out the door OR fearful that I would soon be causing my co-workers to start wearing clothespins on their noses!

I had always heard about crystal sticks, but had never tried them. I had seen mixed reviews, so I wasn't really sure how it would work for me. In a recent trip to a health food store, I decided to give one a try.

And now I say,

Good riddance my enemy

And hello my new friend!

Gross is good

We are not sickly people.

My kids have stayed amazingly well this past year, as they have most years.

But this last week has made me crazy.

I had to stay home with my dtr last Thursday because the night before she had Fever join Cough and Congestion for a party in her body.

And of course, a couple of days later, They decided to get my son in on the fun. What started as an innocent runny nose and slight cough, escalated to full-blown Head Cold and Ear Infections in a matter of hours on Sunday morning. By Sunday evening, he was a mess as High Fever ramped up the party fun. I stayed home with him Monday, and was happy that he was fever-free all day/night so I could send him to school and me to work on Tuesday.

That dreaded Fever snuck back Tuesday while he was at school, meaning I had to cut my day short at work and head back to get him.

That is his second ear infection in two months and I not a particular fan of giving my kids lots of antibiotics.

In thinking about the difference between my kid's course of illness, I realized something. My son still couldn't blow his nose, thus encouraging most of his sniffling and snorting to gather right up into his ear canals.

Ta-da, ear infection!

So, I was a Mama on a Mission these past 3 days!

Teach my almost 4 year old to blow his nose.

On Sunday night, I put him in the shower simply to loosen up his congestion and clean his snotty face! At one point, he yelled for me and indicated he had some snot hanging out his nose that he wanted me to wipe.

Light bulb moment!

I told him to stick a bubble in his mouth (that wonderful commonly used technique to get kids to be quiet!) and BLOW out his nose as hard as he could.

And he DID IT!

Again and again and again!

I think when we took away the pressure of the Kleenex and the discussion of how to blow his nose, AND the added bonus of giving him free messy reign in the shower, he got it.

And he has been successfully blowing his nose in Kleenex ever since.

Hopefully, this will eliminate any ear infections in the near future!

Using the shower to teach kids to blow their nose- it works for me!

Bag People

I love bags! And thanks to genetics, my kids do too! Oh, I guess their environment, which happens to be filled with bags of all sorts, influences them as well!

Several months ago, I made a real effort to start using bags. For reasons other than carrying around wipes, lipstick, and money! You know, for things like groceries and such. Honestly, I have not always been a good steward of bags in these other areas. I forget sometimes. I have plastic bags around the house from previous purchases that need to be used and reused. So I don't feel too guilty about them being around.

I know many of you already use bags way more proficiently than I do! But if you don't, I would just like to encourage you to start. Try it with one, then grow, grow, grow your collection!

You can get them lots of places.

These are my Target ones. They are good for the most things. They are a little on the thin side, so be cautious. I already tore one of my bags. Good canvas bags may do better for the long run, but these do work fine most of the time.

Smallest version

Largest version (I just found a mid-size version that I don't have a picture of.)

The size difference of between the large and small ones.

The small one folded up for easy storage!

A cute girl and her fav new bag!

A cute boy and his fav new bag!

So far, we have used bags for:

Groceries
Library books
School
Work
Long trips
Day trips
Dry cleaners
Goodwill drop off

Bags work for me!

A Win-Win Solution!

In order to keep ticking off my Life Goals 2008, I went in search of an easy way to enter online sweepstakes this morning.

I am always reading about people that win so much stuff all the time. I wanted in on the action! What a great way to enjoy things for my family, as well as win things that I can donate, giveaway as prizes, or share with my extended family or friends!

So, what works for me at this point is.....

Roboform

It has several tools you can use, but since I am new to it, I am only using the form-filler option right now. As I learn more, I will share!

If you currently use this system, I would love to hear from you. Good and bad!

That is what works for me! Head over here for more great ideas!

Happy Sweeping!

Ok everyone, I want you to take a deep breath!

I spoke several weeks ago about our family's relative health this season.

KNOCK ON WOOD!
KNOCK ON WOOD!
KNOCK ON WOOD!

I also mentioned my potential oncoming sinus infection with no time for a doctor visit, much less getting sick in general.

So I thought I would share with everyone exactly what works for me.

The NetiPot!

Many of you know of it or already have a special relationship with it!

I first learned of it from our friend, Dr. Oz, when I caught a repeat of the show where a gal from Texas embarassed herself in front of millions of people by giving us a demonstration!

I will admit that I was faithful for a few times, feeling the difference when I did use it. However, like many desires of a busy mommy, my time with Neti got less and less even if I did feel a tad stuffy. I had wanted to be a daily user to prevent all that is evil in my sinuses, but it just did not happen.

When I started feeling bad a few weeks ago, I dusted it off and stayed faithful for almost a week.

I promise you it made all the difference! No sinus infection and a clearer head! But I still think I should use it several times a week for maintenance. And just so you will know I am all about keeping it real- It can be a little uncomfortable, especially the first few times. You might find yourself fighting the urge to come up for air from time to time. You will think your eyes are going to float out of your head if you don't do it right. And you MUST keep breathing!!

No, I won't be offering tutorials.

You can go here and paint your own mental image of what I might look like in the bathroom mirror as I become one with my Neti!

Just think of me with better hair!

Well, actually, I look nothing like that girl except I DO have better hair!

It works for me! Now head over here for more great WFMW ideas! She is hosting while the regular hostess is out of the country.

Whistle while you work, la la la la la la la!

About a month ago, a friend mentioned on online product that I might want to try.

My Reward Board

And since one of my goals is to create a responsibility system for my kids this year, we started our 15-day free trial last week. We still have this week to continue our free trial, but I am pretty sure I will be making the one-time purchase of $19.95 to keep it around forever.

Over the last few months, I have fretted over how to do "a system" for my kids. Since I have a slight tendency to err on the side of perfection, I could just see myself spending a whole lot of time planning, creating, and recreating the perfect system to include responsibilities, earnings, demerits, you name it!

There was bound to be many trees lost as I figured out what worked best.

And looked the cutest!

I was even set to use my brand new laminator for the job at hand.

So I checked it out, and it is true what they say, after just a few days, my kids are excited to be earning their happy faces! They have even been asking to do some of the things on their charts!

Now the week has not been perfect and I am certainly allowing for an adjustment period. Especially for some of the "Behavior" items I added to their charts such as "No whining". For instance, little man had a few sad faces added to his chart for no-no's this week, but I made sure he had opportunities to earn extra happy faces to make up for it.

The system is animated, talks to the kids, and has many features which would have taken me forever to put together myself. Some things you will find there include the "Can Do" charts, the piggy bank, reward coupons, goals sheet, games. There are many options already available to create the charts and reward coupons, but you can also add your own items or make adjustments to the coupons as needed. I love being able to make changes when I need to with a few simple clicks.

You can manage the system straight from the computer. However, since my kids are younger, I also posted a copy of their weekly chart on the fridge for quick reference. Then at some point each day, we go to the computer and they get to see me add all their happy faces to their charts!

In a short time, it has already cut down on the drama around here!

And on that point alone, it works for me!!

I hope you find it helpful too!

Seriously easy!

Not me!

This!

Spinach Cheese Casserole

1 pkg of frozen spinach; thawed and drained
1 16-oz carton of cottage cheese
2 cups of cheddar cheese; shredded
6 tablespoons of flour
3 eggs

Mix together flour and eggs. Add spinach, cottage cheese, and cheddar cheese. Mix together. Put in 8x8 ungreased baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour.

Next time, I might add a bit of some sorta seasoning, although it was tasty as well without.

Ooooo, I just had a thought! What about adding diced tomatoes, mushrooms, chives?!

I am so hungry now!

I see this as an easy holiday party dish for church, office, bunko, home, or whatever!

And it goes really well with the soup you find here.

Just sayin'!

Beginning with the end in mind

If you don't already know this about me, then today I will share again my love of shopping at resale shops. OK, yes I love to shop other places as well, but I am nothing without my bargains!

I have posted several times about some great deals I have scored in the past, but don't have time to go find them for linking here. One of my blogging goals is to go back and relabel then organize my posts for readers.

But that is for another day!

Anyway, resale shopping has become a recent love of mine, and although I don't go often since I usually have kids in-tow, I do love it when I walk out with great deals like a $7 bicycle that my daughter LOVES or cute clothes that cost less than $2 a piece!

So, several weeks ago, my favorite place advertised a "50% midnight madness sale with LOTS OF NEW TOYS!". Now most of my shopping was done and my kids certainly don't need new toys, but I had to go see what bargains I might find.

Little did I know this would be an after-Thanksgiving Wal-Mart dejavu experience.

Only better!

Seriously, these people had their act together; carts or buggies, a number system if you wanted to store your stuff and go shop more, cookies and cider, and friendly, helpful people! Who knew that still existed!

I mosied in at 6:10 pm (shopping was from 6-11pm) to find, um, madness! Apparently, they had lined up prior to 6pm! Despite my late start, I was soooooo pleased with my results! Apparently, the store had received many generous donations in bulk, so there were lots of new items to choose from along with the regular donated stuff.

Before I share some of special finds, I wanted to make it clear that all of this is NOT entirely for my kids nor is it all for THIS Christmas. After re-reading yesterday's post, it seemed like I was eluding to the idea that my kids were getting all of it. I have talked before about my gift closet that I keep stocked for birthdays, special occasions, and Christmas. Everything in there is purchased at 50% off at least, most of it at even better bargains than that!

Not that I think my friends and family are cheap!

See all this.....

90% of it was already in my gift closet ready for this Christmas!

And my loot from the other night.....

All purchased at 50% off! I got all this, plus 2 games you don't see cuz I already gave them away, and 3 pairs of jeans ($1.50 ea!), a pair of leopard pants with fringe, and an authentic-looking Pocahontas outfit for next Halloween for my dtr, and 2 pairs of pjs (less than $3 ea) for each of the kids for $129.

People, I don't know what you consider a bargain and it is not like I needed to run out and spend that money, but I think I did good. And when I even impressed my husband while at the same time spending money, then I did indeed do good.

I am so covered for the next year!

Here is fun closer look:

That is my cute new stool I bought for $5. Although it looks OK now, the seat is actually a little worn and I bought it to recover because I really loved the legs on it. Which you can't see!

Barbie for less than $5.

This one may never come out of the package! I love this stuff! Ever since doing my daughter's nursery in Dick and Jane, I can't get enough of it! $3 folks!

I got 2 of these for $7.50 each. L's birthday is June and one my nephew's is in July, so these will be perfect!

L has a new love of dinosaur's, so he is actually getting this one in a few weeks! I think this one was $7.

He loves his Papa's tractor, so he will love this when it shows up for his birthday as well. Again, $7.50.

Games are my theme right now! All at a good price! Some for us, but most will be for birthday gifts throughout the year. It seems we have a party every other week!

If you go back up, I am especially proud of that cute barn stand I scored for $20! There are no stickers on it, so I can't even guess where it came from or how much it cost originally. However, it is a good solid piece and I bet it was a good deal! Yes, this one will be for my kids along with the lemonade stand I found for 75% off awhile back. Not sure for what occasion, but I love to encourage their play and these will do nicely!

Anyway, a long story to say, you can give a great gift at Christmas or any other occasion by simply shopping at your local resale shop! I prefer the ones that benefit a cause!

It works for me!

One-Stop Shopping

I'll admit, as much as I love all this, the technical part of it has come slower for me. I am too busy to figure out how to do this and that (all things I want to do) to enhance my site and my ability around blogland. I have improved along the way by asking a few questions here and there, but mostly by trial and error.

Because I bestow Friday Fuzzies each week, I have mentioned several times my HUGE list on my computer where I keep track of who I need to visit. Once given a FF, I try to slide them over to my sidebar in the following weeks. That way, I can simply go to my site and then visit all of them. Thus allowing me to decrease the size of my other list.

See where I am going here?

Are y'all out there rolling your eyes along with "tsk tsk tsk"?

FINALLY, some sweet soul (who I have momentarily forgotten who, but will acknowledge as soon as I remember!) had mercy on me and let me in on the BIG SECRET!

WELL.GOOD.MORNING.GOOGLE.READER!WHERE.HAVE.YOU.BEEN.ALL.MY.LIFE!

SERIOUSLY! No more guessing. No more clicking unnecessarily. No more wasted time.

All my peeps are there with one click and I can know INSTANTLY who has a new post (or two!). I only click on those with a new post and then mark them "read" once I am done. Their site is not highlighted again until they post again. This is brilliance in action!

I have had a few that Google Reader won't add. Again that is technical stuff and I will have to worry about it later.

And although I need to tweek a few more things so I can streamline my time even more when it comes to reading, commenting, and posting, I am so thrilled with my new found discovery.

One word of caution though. It can be very easy to just read the new posts quickly and move on (especially if I can read the whole post without going to a person's site to finish the story) and I have found myself doing that more than I like. I am a firm believer in commenting as much as I can when I visit people. I know how it makes me feel to know, really know, people are reading what I write and I want to make others feel that way. (hint, hint all you lurkers or those who I visit a lot!) So lately, I have made a conscious effort to take the time to comment even if it takes a few extra steps to their "house".

Google Reader works for me!

How to:
1. Go to Google
2. Click on "more" in the tool bar at the top of the page
3. Click on "reader" near the bottom of the list
4. Sign in with your Google account. So worth getting an account just for this!
5. Then simply start adding sites to the "subscription". I usually keep two screens up so I can grab an url and then add them to my list quickly.

Just a click away!

I wasn't going to do WFMW this week, but just had to share this what with all the new blogs I am discovering this week!!

I am horrible about remembering where I saw a great idea or a neat place I wanted to return to. For some reason, I never really knew what the "favorites" icon would do until recently. Don't say it!!

WELL, it is my BFF these last few months! It comes in especially handy as I give away my Friday Fuzzies each Friday and need to look through my choices!

So, don't forget to click liberally on your "favorites" icon as you find stuff you want to remember for later! Blogs, websites, articles, stuff, you name it!

Especially this week!!

Gone in 60 seconds!

I can't believe I am going to put this out in Internet land, what with all my talk lately about going green. So, maybe, instead of crying FOUL!!!, you could look at it as a cry for HELP!!!!!

I am horrible about catching and cleaning stains on my counter tops. It just starts to look horrible before, in the old days, I would create a new slate with good ole' bleach. I hated using it, green or not, but didn't feel like I had a choice.

One day, I needed to get rid of the stains quick, and in a light bulb moment, remembered my Clorox Beach Pen I still had in my laundry room.

I wondered.....

People, I have a 3-year old boy. His clothes and newly discovered self-sufficiency are killing me! Do I need to beg for more mercy than that?!

So....I gave it a little squeeze and rub on all the stains. After letting the areas sit about 5 minutes (some less than that), I went back and wiped.

GONE!

Old stains. New stains. No mess, MUCH LESS smell, no worries of slopping bleach solution on my clothes.

THEN, several weeks ago, we had to have our carpets and white/cream tile grout cleaned. The grout in our breakfast and kitchen areas was pitiful. (by the way, I DID use a service that did both the carpet and the grout with non-toxic solutions!)

So, you know how it goes! You watch your family like a hawk, shouting "Be careful", "Don't spill it", "Seriously, right after the grout guy leaves!".

My husband was starting to twitch from watching our money slowing disappear under the new grout dirt. Then, I remembered the pen!

All I have to say is YES!

That works for me now, but I am so open to suggestions of less toxic nature. Preferably ones that don't require a big mess, lots of mixing, or hands & knees scrubbing.

But don't worry, I am not picky!

Juicy Details!

I decided to share a WFMW tip that follows along with my previous healthier-living posts. Probably nothing new to most of you budget-minded moms!

Because I am purchasing as much organic products as possible for our budget, I have to think of ways to make those food products last as long as possible. Plus, until recently, my children have only known juice (and most other drinks other than milk!) in their watered-down version. It was just "normal" to them.

Once a month, I usually purchase 2 types of juice. Typically, I choose an orange, apple, or grape juice; each coming in about a 1 quart container. Once home, I pour the juice into a 4 quart pitcher and fill the container with water. I have a pitcher with a sifter-type handle which mixes the juice if it settles. Then, I will refill the smaller container for everyday use; refilling as needed until we have used all the "juice" in the larger pitcher.

To an adult, it does taste diluted. To a kid, just right!

And just think of all the calories and sugar grams you will be saving with each serving!!

Sneaky Foods!

Below is an article I just wrote for our monthly ladies' newsletter at church. The bottom line for WFMW is....

what they don't know won't hurt them ;)

**************************************

Picky Eaters!
By Stacey Willmon, OTR
Pediatric Occupational Therapist

We know of them, are one, or have birthed one! They exist in all genders, sizes, and degrees of pickiness! For most of us, we have gone through varying stages of being picky over the years or we have raised (are raising) children who decide to be picky about different foods at different times.

From a developmental aspect, picky eating can be very normal and can happen at different stages of growth. As parents, we usually deal with it at the time and move on. For some children and their parents, having very strong and particular food preferences can be an extremely tiring and disruptive experience.

When working with a child that has limited food preferences (this may come in the form of smell, taste, texture), there are several approaches that may be utilized over time. Determining any underlying influences can be a good first step; is it part of an overall sensory defensiveness issue, are there tone or muscle issues, are there motor coordination issues, etc. Many times either a speech therapist or an occupational therapist will be involved with the child whose poor eating due to “being picky” has severely limited their nutritional intake. Typically, the food issues do not reside alone and the child is also receiving treatment for other reasons.

Often, in more severe cases, we will work on the oral-motor and sensory needs that influence food choices and eating for the child. We will play mouth games using whistles, straws, special vibrating tools for the mouth, and special flavors to stimulate the mouth and ready it for new foods. We may implement a behavioral approach in conjunction with what we are working on physically. This can include something simple like a sticker/reward chart for anything from touching certain foods to tolerating a certain food on their plate without overreacting to actually trying a new food for the first time. I work with children who can barely stand to be in presence of certain foods, so we have to start there. Can you imagine how hard it might be for a child to interact with his peers if he can’t get past the odors of a food he finds obnoxious. Like a strawberry!

I play a game with my kids that is simply a way to introduce them to new food opportunities. I will choose 3-5 foods for that day and go in this order with the game; touch it, smell it, kiss it, lick it, bite it, chew it, eat it. Sometimes we make it all the way through the process with a food. Sometimes we don’t! Usually, I will set some guidelines so the child knows how much I expect of them. Also, remember, this is a game. It is not meal time. It is ok to “play” with the food and in many cases, ok to spit it out. If it ever actually makes it into their mouth!

For those of us dealing with just the regular pickiness of childhood, try to implement guidelines that work for your family. For example, I know my daughter dislikes many green vegetables, but she knows she has to eat at least one bite if it is on her plate. And even though I know she doesn’t like certain foods, they still go on her plate at dinner time.

The other thing that is important to remember with picky eaters is that typically, these kids are missing out on many of their nutritional requirements. Not to mention the fact that so many of the foods our children do eat are horribly processed, have been injected with junk, and lack the nutrients of days past. Believe me, I am just as guilty as anyone else in terms of buying those foods! I am getting better, but still guilty!

What started the theme of this month’s article was my excitement over the new book, The Sneaky Chef, by Missy Chase Lapine. You can read about her, the book, and much more at www.thesneakychef.com I know there are other great books out there, but this is the one I am highlighting. Just this week, I sent some of the downloadable recipes from the website home with a mom of one of my most picky clients! I hope it works! Here is an introduction from the website,

It's time to become a Sneaky Chef - the trick is to hide the foods kids should eat in the dishes they will eat. Imagine total peace at your very next meal, watching as your kids gobble up super healthy veggies, fruits, beans, and whole grains. With over 75 simple recipes, The Sneaky Chef is chock full of proven strategies for ingeniously disguising "superfoods" in kids' favorite meals. With the addition of a few fast and simple make-ahead purees or clever replacements (some may surprise you!) parents can pack more fiber, fruit, vegetables and whole grains in their kids' foods.

I love this website! You can get 10 starter recipes to try for free, you can read the blogs of both the author and a clinical dietician/nutritionist, ask questions, and much more! I am planning on trying some of these recipes myself!

For those of you who live by the motto, “They will eat it because I said so.”, I am glad that is working for you. For the rest of us, I hope this information is something you will find useful.

Enjoy the recipes!

peanut butter & jelly muffins
Nutrition Highlights: vegetables, whole grains, nuts Rich in vitamins A, B complex, C, E, K, manganese, iron, potassium, folate, riboflavin, selenium, fiber, and protein.
Makes 8 large muffins (or 16 mini muffins)
1 cup Flour Blend (1/3 cup whole grain flour, 1/3 cup white flour, 1/3 cup wheat germ)
2 teaspoons baking powder
One-half teaspoon baking soda
One-half teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
One-quarter cup brown sugar
One-quarter cup canola oil
Three-quarters cup Orange Puree (see Make-Ahead Recipe #2)
Three-quarters cup smooth peanut butter
8 heaping teaspoons favorite jam*
*Note: Jelly doesn't work as well as the thicker variety of jam; jelly just disappears into the muffins.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside. In another large bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until well combined, then whisk in the oil, Orange Puree and peanut butter. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet and mix until flour is just moistened (don't over-mix or the muffins will be dense).
Scoop about two tablespoons of batter into the large muffin cups until half full. Place a heaping teaspoon of jam in the center of each muffin. Cover the jam with another 2 tablespoons or so of batter, filling the cups just over the top. If you're using mini muffin cups, scale back quantities to fit into the smaller sized cups.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the tops are golden brown.

make-ahead recipe #2: orange puree
1 medium sweet potato or yam, peeled and rough chopped;
3 medium to large carrots, peeled and sliced into thick chunks;
2-3 tablespoons water
In a medium pot, cover carrots and potatoes with cold water and boil for about 20 minutes until yams, and especially the carrots, are very tender. If the carrots aren't thoroughly cooked, they'll leave telltale little nuggets of vegetables, which will reveal their presence (a gigantic NO-NO for the sneaky chef).
Drain the potatoes and carrots and put them in the bowl of food processor with two tablespoons of water. Puree on high until smooth; no pieces of carrots or potatoes should remain. Stop occasionally to push the contents from the top to the bottom. If necessary, use the third tablespoon of water to make a smooth puree, but the less water the better.
This makes about 2 cups of puree. Double the recipe if you want to store another cup of puree. Store in refrigerator up to 3 days, or freeze one-quarter cup portions in sealed baggies or small plastic containers.
Orange Puree is used in the following recipes:
* Peanut Butter & Jelly Muffins
* Power Pizza

p.s. If you feel overwhelmed by the thought of making the purees yourself, you might start with some organic baby foods in the recipes and see how that works before moving on to making your own purees! Just last night, I added the carrots to our mac & cheese and everyone LOVED it ;)

GOOD LUCK!

Closet Organizers!

Ya'll might have remembered when I posted this picture from a previous tackle in my guest room. Here, I use my shoe organizer to store holiday, party, and gift items.

I recommend these things to everyone! Closet shoe organizers are so versatile in terms of what you can use them for. Whether you live in a house or an apartment, you can't go wrong with these. The space they can create for you in virtually every closet or doorway is almost endless!

In the kids' rooms, I do use them for shoes. However, Luke also has some of his hats and miscellaneous items in his, while Anysa keeps some of her hair accessories in hers.

This is in my kitchen pantry. I keep storage containers, container wraps, snacks, clippies, spices, straws, extra garbage bags.

This is my hall pantry closet off the kitchen. I keep vitamins, Kleenex, plastic cups and silverware, washcloths.

This is my hall coat closet. I keep the kids' bubbles, paints, pencils, cards, some fine motor stuff, along with some camera stuff, and sunscreen and bug repellent.

Right now, I am using the cheaper plastic versions. The ones I have had for awhile. As I start to replace them, I want to get and would recommend, the nylon/double-pocket ones. They just seem to look nicer and be sturdier.

If you decide to do this, I would LOVE to hear back from you and see all the creative ways everyone uses these!
